St. Michael's Men's Club is open to all members of St. Michael's Parish. As a group, we have been formed in order to promote:
- The spiritual life of each parish member, the parish, and to promote works of charity.
- Recreational activities and programs for all members of the parish.
- The support of St. Michael's School youth athletic and recreational programs and activities.
One of the ways that we accomplish this is through the Christian home education of children by our being truly Christian fathers, leading and teaching by example, support, and love.
Some of the other ways of performing our mission is, as the overseeing organization of St. Michael's Park and Campground, or by the breakfasts and fish fry fund raisers that we hold. We also sponsor and support Pack #1 of Cub Scouts, and Troop #1 of the Boy Scouts. We hold the Month of Money Raffle each December as a fund raiser.
We have historically earmarked the proceeds of our fund raising events to St. Mike's Church and church carpet restoration, Blessed Gianna Home, St. Joseph's Social Care and Thrift Store, St. Michael's Parish picnic, priest open houses and farewells, along with St. Michael's School youth programs, and parishioner support.
We hold our meetings once a month on the first Monday, in the church basement. After our meetings we have a social time with a luncheon. We would like you to join us to have some fun and support St. Michael's in the meantime.
