The St. Michael’s Religious Education Program exists to assist the primary educators (parents) in passing on the Catholic Faith. Each child will build on their personal relationship with Christ as they grow to understand the fullness of the Catholic Faith.
There will be registration after all the Masses on August 27 and 28, 2011. If you are unable to register on this weekend, you can print ouf the registration form and mail your form or drop it in the collection at Mass. In addition forms are available at the church entrance. All parents are invited to the Church Basement on September 7th to meet the staff of St. Michael's and the teachers. We will also be going over important information for parents this first night. Please come to the Church Basement at whichever time your child is signed up for RE (4:15pm or 6:30pm). The following is the list of RE dates for the 2011-2012 school year.

Class Times:
- Preschool, Kindergarten and 1st through 6th grade class is offered on Wednesday afternoons from 4:15pm-5:30pm.
- 1st grade through 12th grade class is offered on Wednesday afternoons from 6:30pm-7:45pm.
Attendance is taken at each class. When a child is absent, the home will receive a phone call to verify the safety of the child. If your child will not be coming to class, please call ahead. Perfect attendance will recognized with a gift at the end of the year.
All the programs used in the St. Michael’s Religious Education program are in accordance with the Fargo Diocesan guidelines:
Preschool and Kindergarten use the Loyola Press “God Made the World” and “God Loves Us” Series. First through Sixth grade use the Faith and Life Series. Seventh and Eighth graders use the Didache series “Introduction to Catholicism.” Freshmen use the Theology of the Body for Teens curriculum. Tenth through Twelfth graders use the Didache series “Understanding Scripture.”
